Inés de la Calzada was born in Barcelona in 1987, but lived and grew up in Albacete.
She graduated in Law with a Master's degree in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets in Madrid. All her life she has painted and grown up surrounded by creativity. Her years in Düsseldorf and the artistic energy she breathed in that city also influenced everything that her works express today.
Her passion for painting and art led her to create a sustainable fashion brand, which was born out of exclusive freehand-painted garments.
All the traces of her life, she says, have catalysed her passion for abstract expressionism, and that is why Jackson Pollock lives in her soul.
Her work, with a very marked personal style, is living art, which allows light, colours and transparencies to be the reflection of what catches the viewer in a 360o vision. He has created a technique that provides visual richness and gives freedom to the viewer and the viewer's perspective. The mind gives much more than what we see.
Inés seeks to disrupt the visual archetype by creating unbreakable bonds of creativity, expansion, experimentation and evolution.
She is obsessed with activating genuine meaningful visions from the vestiges of each person.
In just one year she has expanded her art by selling what she painted, with the Artists Experience 2025 Fair at the Santa Barbara Palace, Madrid, being her first exhibition in March 2025. She was the artist with the highest sales.
Inés de la Calzada's desire is to take her art around the world, and she has already begun to do so. She has recently been selected in an international art competition TOP SELECTION BERLIN 2025, which gives her the opportunity to exhibit in April in a gallery in Berlin, she shares. Her goal is to continue exploring new formats and spaces where her art comes to life.
She has also been selected by Art World Paris 2025, where she will exhibit in May at Paris Expo, Porte de Vesailles.
Inés de la Calzada is abstract expressionism in movement offering a 360o vision of living art. Her works evoke the path traversed, never jumped, the longed-for surface, the eyes that close and open to see again, love and the soul.
The transparency, the light and the colours, which characterise his traces, give the spectator the experience of being able to feel and visualise from freedom. The important thing is who is looking and from where they are looking with all the traces of love and soul that this person lived. The mind and art express much more than what you see.
Nothing goes unnoticed in our history.
All our actions, from love and soul, shape our life.
