The Purple Woman is a symbolic and sensorial manifestation that emerges from an ongoing exploration of the female figure as a transgressive entity within a self-constructed visual universe. In this work, the Purple Woman does not represent; she disrupts. Her unnatural skin tone emphasizes her non-human condition, placing her within an emotional and mental plane where surrealism functions as a critical language.
Through elements such as a dog with a crucifix, a symbol of guilt and surveillance, and inverted skyscrapers, a rupture of spatial logic, the piece constructs a landscape of dissonance and instability. There is no linear narrative; instead, it offers an aesthetic provocation that demands a skeptical gaze, a surrender to the enigma, and an openness to ambiguity as a legitimate space within contemporary art.
