The composition of this piece is insparied by the work of Caravaggio, but in my interpretation the body of Christ is striped from color and touches the viewer with its superficial graphics contrasted with the popart reality. It is a melancholy interpretation of the image of the submission to the grave. God and man in one, death and new hope.
