An institutional space, cold and functional, presents a children’s birthday party fully set up with a table already set, balloons, garlands, and a cake with lit candles at the center. The party exists, but it does not happen. There is no presence to activate it. Everything remains in a silent tension, as if time had been suspended at the exact moment when everything is ready, but nothing happens. The title reinforces this condition, a still life that is not limited to objects, but alludes to the absence of life within the event itself.
