Sensible Landscape series, Sea and Rock Landscape
This series captures the encounter of waves and rocks. Inspired by water crashing onto rocky masses, I aimed to convey the poetry and musicality of that dynamic clash.
First, I focused on sensing the boundary between sea and stone, expressing the movement and emotion of waves breaking against the fixed rock. Then, I explored compositional balance: how much space for sea? for rocks?
The rock, silent and immobile, finds its voice in the whistle of wind and waves.
