Sensible Landscapeseries: Sea Landscape
This series was inspired by observing the sea in Brittany. I aimed to express the calm strength, sound, and soothing rhythm of the waves. Two dominant blues dark and cyan reflect their shifting perception.
The work explores a balance between form and emptiness, between visual and sound. Each wave is both unique and part of a whole, like an emotional melody.
Through signs, lines, and dots, I bring the seascape to life. Influenced by ukiyo-e and Japanese calligraphy, the work captures a fleeting, harmonious moment, inviting peaceful contemplation.
