Saluto (Salute)
The continuous attempts to deny a large part of humanity their fundamental rights led me to make this work. Using recycled wooden material, I wanted to create a simple, yet evocative, composition of the status of subordination, both moral and physical, that we often choose facing those who threaten the most basic precepts of civilization.
La riflessione sui continui tentativi di
negare a una grande parte dell'umanità i propri diritti, mi ha indotto a
realizzare quest'opera. Tramite un recupero di materiale lignei, ho voluto
proporre una composizione semplice, eppure evocativa della posizione di subordinazione,
anche morale, che talvolta l'Uomo è portato ad assumere di fronte a coloro che minacciano
i più elementari principi di civiltà.
