Observing own past but destroying it, choosing its most representative
pieces to recompose one's present. Preparing oneself for the future
with what is left of these years, a patched-up story, at times still
confused, a perhaps unstable equilibrium, but all lighter, minimalist,
suitable for tackling new paths. Destroying one's work of the last five
years to recompose it into something new, completely different. Getting
rid of the heaviest aspects of one's past. Recombining the pieces, the
forms, reconstructing one's own history with what we think is best
suited to face what lies ahead.
