Reflection on the blue color - tribute to Kandinsky. Kandinsky's creation of purely abstract works followed a long period of intense development and maturation of theoretical thinking based on his personal artistic experiences. He called this devotion as inner beauty, fervor of spirit and a deep need for spiritual desire, which was the main aspect of his art. While writing “Concerning the spiritual in art”, Kandinsky wrote the Almanac of the Blue Knight, which served both as a defense and promotion of abstract art, as well as proof that all art forms were equally capable of reaching the level of spirituality. He believed that color could be used in a painting as something autonomous and detached from a visual discretion of an object or any form. This is a tribute to blue and Kandinsky work.
