Portals I

This painting explores the idea of transition — a suspended moment between what is already known and what is only beginning to emerge. The portals here are not literal architectural forms, but symbolic spaces of transformation, inner movement, and shifts in consciousness.

Layers of cool whites, blues, and deep dark tones create an atmosphere of silence and ambiguity. The appearing lines and organic circular forms resemble traces of energy, trajectories of thought, or maps of invisible passages between emotional and spiritual states.

This work speaks about existing “in-between”: between the old and the new, ending and beginning, stillness and movement. It is a space that offers no immediate answers, yet quietly invites the viewer to cross the threshold.
