NEW GOD

Daria Dorato's NEW GOD is inspired by Tesla's AI Optimus robot, which is expected to go mass-market in the future and gradually replace humans in professional environments and various spheres of life. 

With her art, she aims to provoke a debate on the role of humans in a futuristic society, while also emphasizing that artificial intelligence is one of our creations, not a deity that we should worship. Thus, the inscription ‘GOD’ in the painting at night turns into the fluorescent inscription ‘TOY’ to remind us of this truth. The painting also draws from the Matrix trilogy, which had a strong impact on Daria's artistic aesthetic and worldview. Let us remember that our creativity and imagination go beyond a string of binary code digits. Also, let's do everything we can to be "seen" by AI as equally important as nature, not as a detrimental and weak link in Earth's evolution.

NEW GOD is the first painting of a planned collection "New Gods", in which each robot is distinguished by holding a unique flower and a doll-like human.
