The gates are from an abandoned amusement park my friend and I found on a trip. It was located deep in the forest. The park seems a little abandoned and lonely, just like the lost days of our long ago childhood. It reminds me of the first day we started painting. We were very small then, too. Sometimes painting is also a game. But now many works lack exactly the purity and authenticity, while painting is driven by practicality, which we do not like so much. This exhibition is also my final exhibition. The reason why I painted these doors is because I want to express my personal view of painting. I.e. I just want to paint something real, something I see and feel. Of course, I also have abstract versions of "doors" because I didn't want to limit myself to one style. After all, I'm still young, I want to experiment more.
