The work "Mountain" is a part of the "Inexhaustible" graphic series.
The series "Niewyczerpana" ("Inexhaustible") reveals an autobiographical and symbolic story of a mother—daughter relationship. The title in Polish is a wordplay, that refers to "niewyczerpanie" = "inexhaustibility" (of a mother and/or of an artist creativity) and "czerpanie" = the technique of making handmade paper (such paper was made by the artist herself for the backgrounds of "Niewyczerpana"/"Inexhaustible" prints). The trace appears on paper in two ways: through pigment printing and embossing. The black, pigment-printed trace appeals to the sense of sight and describes the figures of mother and daughter. The embossing appeals to the sense of touch and shows the world around them. The print was presented on the main exhibition of the International Print Triennial in Kraków, Poland in the year 2018 and during some solo shows of the artist.
