The work explores the relationship between painting, object, and environmental reality. It's aim is to provoke reflection on contemporary consumerism, waste, and environmental impact. Plastic is a "second nature" created by humans; artificial materials—plastic, synthetic paints, and waste—have become our new nature.
Technically, I sought to create tension between soft, crumpled plastic film, gestural painting, and a hard dark surface—establishing a conflict between the organic gesture and synthetic material.
