Freely inspired by the architecture of Palazzo Giusti in Venice, the work imagines an exedra fountain as an inner space and symbolic threshold. The two leonine mascarons guard two possible passages, while the water preserves and returns the memory of emotions. In the central niche, a red shadowy figure appears as a guardian, a presence accompanying the journey between life, memory, and the afterlife. The exedra protects this suspended space, where the element of water remains contained yet free to create reflections, visions, and images deeper than reality.
Ispirata all’architettura di Palazzo Giusti a Venezia, l’opera immagina una fontana a esedra come spazio interiore e soglia simbolica. I due mascheroni leonini custodiscono due possibili passaggi, mentre l’acqua conserva e restituisce la memoria delle emozioni. Nella nicchia centrale, una figura rossa in ombra appare come guardiano, presenza che accompagna il cammino tra vita, memoria e aldilà. L’esedra protegge questo spazio sospeso, dove l’elemento acqua resta circoscritto ma libero di creare riflessi, visioni e immagini più profonde del reale.
