I'm working on a series entitled "Là, je serai bien" ("There, I'll be fine").
It involves research into both.....
*On the presence of the body in the creative process: all creation takes place thanks to the involvement of the body; the body can, however, be absent from the representation itself... while still being present through evocation; here, the creation only represents an imaginary, imagined world, or a memory, but evokes the body, which thereby becomes completely present.... Because here, the body could well be) ...
*about our relationship with nature as a refuge, a refuge that is now being undermined and is becoming a source of nostalgia,
*on our interiority as a refuge, a refuge that is now being undermined by multiple demands,
* on the importance of constant reflection for each of us to create in our lives a "There, I'll be fine".
*that the promise in a world of tensions can no longer consist of anything other than finding a simple place, a "There, I'll be fine".
Each time, the evocation of a place ... and the promise of well-being. Human beings are so small in the face of the tensions of the world that they can only imagine a small place to rest.
The game is played out in triptych volumes: each triptych module speaks of a place full of a nostalgic relationship with nature or an interiority; and this creation, in a format that is usually 150 cm x 150 cm, is usually the technique that allows me to engage the body in a different way (painting on the floor in particular).
The installation of the different triptych structures "Là, je serai bien" measuring 150 x 150 cm creates "islands" where the body can project itself.
Là, j'y serai bien (V) Promenade de nuit I'll be fine (V)
Facing the shadow and the silence, the body in search of this shadow,
then taming the shadow and attaching yourself to the light,
then enjoy the well-being that comes from taming these opposites.
