Once in a rollerdrome I saw a slot machine where, according to the rules, you need to get toys with metal tongs. "Happy World" was written in English and underneath was a sign saying "How to play". Also, this slot machine did not work and on a small display there was an inscription: “Data error”. So ironic, I thought. In our world there are no clear descriptions of how to live, and if there are, they come from distant countries, and the one who teaches others is often far from revealing his words. And these little animals, behind glass... So smiling and happy. Fairy tales for children do not talk about how, for example, chanterelles cry while they are skinned alive after being shot in the anus, until they find out that some woman has been photographed in it for her page, the seizure of luxury life. This still does not enter into the term "Happy World". I think maybe it is neither happy nor sad. Just very different. Constantly changing.
And also there was the «Prize door». It's funny in the context of the present moment, when I send this work, hoping for good luck, from Kyrgyzstan - a third world country where art is underdeveloped, where women's rights are still infringed upon, where some people mean by art only entertainment, others mean compliance with strict rules of academicism.
This painting is like a window through which everyone sees something personal. I very much hope that this work will be noticed and my country, in which artists are left without support, but have good potential, will be noticed too. I really hope that we all have a chance for the real «Happy World». Thanks you for reading!
