History is romantic. History can bestow glamour, style and elegance. History can bestow a weight, an added worth and importance. This is appears to be a restored historic bar but is actually a modern design of what a restored historic bar looks like---playing on the nostalgia for the art deco style. It is an archetype of style and elegance attracting the rich and famous but it is not the historic recreation it appears to be--but does not claim to be--it is assumed. It is elegant but it is not historical as many assume.
