Cheval Blanc Basel

Abstract Impressionist gestural painting captures the archetypal Michelin Star restaurant. This is the Cheval Blanc restaurant in Basel, Switzerland but it could be the Ritz in London, or the Victoria and Albert in Orlando. All these Michelin Star restaurants, in their recreations, are trying to capture the glory of the past which is in itself based on memories. Barnes uses the techniques and mediums of modern abstract painting, oil and cold wax in a gestural action painting method to create this abstract impressionist painting.
