Mirror fragments cut through the lettering, interrupting its form without erasing it.
The marks remain, but they are constantly altered by what is reflected in the mirror.
Identity is never fixed. It is shaped by memory, experience and the people and places that surround us.
As the reflection changes, so does the artwork itself. Every viewer becomes part of the piece, bringing a different perspective each time.
Each artwork contains a hidden handwritten message beneath one mirror fragment. Before sealing it beneath the glass, I photographed that exact moment. The message creates a private connection between the artwork and its future collector, as only the two of us will ever know what it says.
