In this work we see a female body occupying the entire painting so that the viewer cannot look away. This body is naked, has no limbs, no head and while it is black it has a strong white and red outline. So it is vulnerable and at the same time exudes something dramatic, intense and powerful. The background is apparently a meadow with flowers but up close the shapes resemble female and male sexual organs. There is a two-fold theme that runs throughout the work. The contrasts of the images – at first glance we notice the female naked body exuding femininity and movement against a background of a meadow full of flowers while at a second glance the viewer cannot help but notice that the body has bright red marks of physical violence and the meadow instead for flowers it is scattered with sexual symbols. The whole work is therefore a dialogue between beauty and at the same time its absolute demolition.
