Lenia Chrysikopoulou was born in Athens in 1991 and grew up in Chalandri, Attica. She graduated from Arsakeio Psychiko. For two years she attended free drawing courses at the Plaka and Beltekos-Sarasitis tutoring schools. She then studied painting, sculpture, engraving, mosaic, photography, video art, photoshop, premiere, art history at the AKTO School and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (hons) Degree in Fine Art and New Media.She is also a graduate of the University of Peloponnese, Department of Theater Studies, in Nafplio. She has worked as a scenographer's assistant in collaboration with Laloula Chrysikopoulou and with the production company "To proskenio" and this year she had her first participation in the group exhibition, "The flower of the desert": Violence against women, in Athens. At this time she teaches painting and art history classes in Nafplio.
The prism through which I create is that i try to make art with substance.
