The "Cross" series of works was inspired by the religious paintings of the Holy Cross by Rabano Mauro in the Middle Ages. Using the composition of his painting, the cross in the middle and the surrounding text give people a solemn and solemn religious feeling. I want to create a symbol of human value in contemporary society in my eyes through the visual experience of traditional religious feeling. There are currently two sets of works, namely "Cross-HK416" and "Cross-Syringe".
In the "Cross-HK426" series, I used the HK416 rifle to replace the cross. This gun, which was involved in the most dramatic military case of this century, reflects the dialectical relationship between anti-terrorism and anti-hegemony. The text part of the picture comes from a sentence in Subu's "The World's Human Rights" written in 1948.
