The Skull is the shell that I live in. A snipped of this blossoming Garden that is my head. I am interested in painting the subconscious. The behind the scenes. My aim is to capture the pure essence of feelings. The luscious green color the ink provided me with was a coincidence. The motions come as I go along with the painting. There is never a settled concept. It floats in. This painting is full of live and swirly simplicity. Like any garden, the head needs to be weeded of unwelcome herbs. Thoughts are like weeds. Unwelcome thoughts fog the brain. So it is important to keep ones headspace clear of those.
