In my work, I reconsider the question of Mimesis, traditionally related closely to realism art. My picture language consists in the false pretense that my paintings copy nature. The subject matter has been completely designed in digital mediums before I take pictures and assemble them to the prepared the ideal view. I then paint the image with oil paint. To fulfill my artistic goal, I create a paradoxon by taking advantage of a false pretense lying in realism art: that it is coping nature.
