The series Dreams explores the encounter between depth — what lives below the threshold of consciousness — and the surface, which consciousness tries to hold. Blooming into Lilac is the moment of this encounter when they stop opposing each other.

Different colours touch at their edges, holding one another — lilac grows where blue recedes, pink keeps its boundary beside the dark. From this unintended contact, an image emerges.
