The masks that we bring inside us are countless. Life gives us two ways, the indifference or the bravery of being ourselves. In a world made by appearances sometimes we have to wear a mask in order not to feel wrong, to be like the other.
The faces of the painting are alike and empty, standardised as the items in the shelf of a supermarket. The chaos, the frenzy, the running to life in the world of wild capitalism.
One face smiles, it’s different, let itself carry in a new dimension, has found the peace, the truth and also the sense of life maybe?
Reason is for dummies and conviction is for superb. Can we really be happy? Can we renounce everything to be it? Could the rebel smiling face itself represent the “fear of living"? The imagination of this work let us think about how we are, who we are and how much time we have to understand it and choose it..
