What do the women in this image see? Why are we looking at them? Who's watching us?
Much of Delphines work focuses on people and their multitude. Being absorbed in a crowd is something that gives her energy. Standing in a sea of people, you feel connected on one hand and yet you are anonymous in such a crowd. You can only see the backs of the people. You observe them intimately, for they do not know that you are watching them. And you can stay curious about their faces and what's in front of them.
