Delphine Cuelenaere, °1986, is a visual artist from Flanders. In 2013 she graduated with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts LUCA in Ghent. Since 2021 she started exploring the technique of woodcuts, after working as an art lecturer at the university of applied science in Ghent.
In essence, her images are about the amazement that she inherited from her dad, who she lost when she was 28 years old. She says: 'My dad was extremely positive, playful
and could look at the world with an open mind. In my research on how to
represent the world around me from a shared reality, I often find myself
thinking about how my father saw the world and where his and my world
touch.'
