Akhenaten & Nefertiti

“Akhenaten & Nefertiti” is a contemporary diptych inspired by the art and spiritual symbolism of Amarna. Two figures emerge from surfaces reminiscent of ancient walls, bringing together memory, fragility and the quiet bond between human presence and light. The symbol of Aten evokes light as a source of life and renewal.

Mixed media on cotton canvas: oil paint, plaster bandages, texturing paste and wax. Two panels, each 50 × 70 × 2 cm, presented as one work.
