My personal approach to art has been shaped by an experience with information design and video production. After working in this field for a while, I began to feel a lack of substance in my art, as if nothing existed there, separated from me by a digital barrier, even though it was certainly something I had created.In response, I began to feel an increasing drive to return to the fundamental materials of essential human art: I wanted to shape my art with my own fingers.
And it is quite different from the act of painting on a stretched canvas; it focuses on the act of creating matter itself, through the various processes of weaving, painting, and shaping.
These processes are not just a return to old techniques, but a means of sublimating the accumulation of actions and time into an object with more depth and weight.
