On the words of very well known evolutionist philosopher Telmo Pievani: " Vera and Roberto’s art and their
evolutions are above all a precious contribution to cultivate our biophilia. In dialogue with the materials, shapes, organisms, mounds, sounds and
ruins of nature, Officinadïdue’s project does not however aim at a simple representation of the
environment and its crises, but their re-elaboration and reinterpretation
through the lenses of an entirely human, ethically human expressive language.
Nature does not need our commiseration, nor to tell the truth of our
intentions, since it is completely indifferent to our fate, to our creative
impulses, to our moral questions, to our boring wars, being able to serenely
(and sometimes violently) do without a conceited biped mammal. It has done
without us during an endless past and will do without during an endless future,
just how imminent depends on us. The opposite is not true: there is no possible
future for us, not even post-human, without nature. "
Nevertheless, we decided to give this tree a second chance and to save it from the saws. The smallest part of the tree - the leaf - supports the whole body.
