Officinadïdue is an artistic duo by Vera Bonaventura and Roberto Mainardi.
In these times, we believe the artists have to be more effective and active in respect of environmental and social issues. We believe in the ethic side of art in a continuing dialogue with science. Through our language ( installation, video-art, performance, painting, sculpture, photography) we draw inspiration from the Beuys "Defense of Nature", but with an accent on the Cure of Nature. Our modus operandi draws inspiration from the natural world and at the same time gives it a new (aest-) ethic and attention supported by the languages of Land Art, Arte Povera and Minimalism reinterpreted throu the light of new environmental scenarios.
"Nature is a very creative assistant. Everything is out there: we just need to sit and contemplate it."
We have exhibited our works at Arte Sella, the Trauttsmandorf Gardens of Merano, the Botanical Garden of Padua, the Museum of Feltre, the Milan Design Film Festival, the Tiny Winter Film Festival as well as in numerous Museums and Foundations individually. We work with commettes who want to develop artistic projects related to environment, climate, ecology.
