Materials: soil marked with artist’s footsteps, resin
Landscape constituents are removed from their place, being converted to artefact that speaks of its interrelationship with people, commenting on bodily appearance in space. These fundamental explorations of space, volume and movement become reflections of the way we shape and are shaped by the domain in which we live.
Creating a hybrid topography between the natural and the human-made, collected materials are reformed generating visual records of place, signs of how we occupy space and leave our marks behind. Capturing the dynamics of time passing, individual traces are transferred to cast formations and matter is activated by imprinting my actions on it.
