"Feng Chen Pu Pu"in Chinese means people travel a long way to get somewhere that they turn out to be exhausted or dust covered. "Feng" in Chinese means wind----when I came up with this idea I was in Beijing, and it is always super windy in Beijing during winter and spring. So I was thinking a way to capture the wind shape and the objects brought along with the wind of Beijing. Because I lived in Shanghai, a southern city in China. I came such a long way to the north and I wished for the encounter of other beings in the wind here so much. I took this "camp-like" ragged sculpture in different famous landmarks in Beijing, and watched it fell over several times and not enjoyed the chilly weather.
