The Universe As Measure

The Universe As Measure, this project was commenced in 2007, where Marea undertook a study of the garden at Villa Garzoni, in Tuscany. She researched the relationship between the garden and the universe. Here, an aerial view of the maze has been overlaid with a constellation, the colours inverted. Originally a photograph the image has undergone a number of transformations into a photographic etching, then a video projection on a telescope and digitally printed on textile and paper. W 178 x 131
