GIF
There is no beginning and no end in it, only an infinite rhythm that hypnotizes. It is the language spoken by the generation itself — fast, ironic, ruthlessly precise. GIF has become our common vocabulary: one frame replaces a thousand words, and a quote from an old film finds a second life and new meaning. The internet chose it as its voice because it knows how to laugh at what hurts and weep at what is funny. This is art born from memes, but it has grown into something greater — the collective memory of the digital age.
Artificial intelligence permeates everything around us, and my projects are no exception. I used to only dream of creating images or animations, as I lacked the necessary skills. Today, however, I navigate this process as if by magic: first, I generate an image in ChatGPT; next, I enhance its quality using another AI tool; then, I hand it over to a third AI to breathe life into it—creating an animation. The final touch involves converting the video into a GIF and fine-tuning every parameter, from size to frame rate.
Why GIF? Because it's timeless. It's been with us for a long time and will outlive many formats. It's also simply simple — and that's where its beauty lies. I've always dreamed of creating these looping images. They remind me of clockwork mechanisms — endlessly ticking, moving from one cycle to the next. I create miniatures, and in these tiny little clocks, my imagination begins to come alive.
