Inspired by the haunting geometries of Aldo Rossi’s abandoned San Cristoforo station in Milan, this project reimagines fragments of its architectural soul. Through a series of photographic studies, I have deconstructed and reconstructed the station’s spatial sequences, translating them into a sculptural installation of welded 40mm steel profiles. The installation is integrated with two fragments of black marble that echo the theme of abandonment and the unfinished, the structure is characterized by a dreamlike coloration that enhances a new expressive potential.
