My artistic research starts from the distinctive characteristics of architecture and design to arrive
at abstract dimensions free from functional contamination. The theme of my work oscillates
between the concrete and the abstract, between rigid geometries and organic patterns with the
aim of tracing an aesthetic suspended between reality and imagination
I am currently working on a collection that includes iron structures, paintings and videos entirely
made by me.
In my productions, both architectural and artistic, I have consistently
explored the subtle line of separation that exists between the abstract
and the concrete dimensions. This uncertain space forms the core of my
research, a fertile territory brimming with potential where imagination and
reality intertwine in a sinuous manner, maintaining an indefinite character
and remaining open to a multitude of interpretations and unexpected
developments.
Through drawing, installations, and architecture, I aim to evoke a precise
tension between abstraction and concreteness, functionality and form,
organicity and geometry, in an effort to strike a balance between the
immaterial realm of ideas and the tangibility of form.
The concept of concrete abstraction signifies, for me, an exploration of new
perspectives through which to perceive the world that surrounds us, free
from contamination and conditioning. It is a quest for all encompassing
artistic experiences, with the goal of bringing forth primal sensations and
perceptions.
