RUG'N ROLL concrete stool

The RUG’N ROLL concrete stool collection by German design studio BUDDE boldly introduces a unique, industrial concrete composite material to furniture design.

Usually applied in civil construction, the concrete composite is a flexible fabric, impregnated with a layer of concrete. Instead of forcing the canvas into an envisioned shape, the material’s unique textile characteristics co-lead the production process and create organic forms – making each piece a “one-off”. The stools are highly durable, waterproof and fire-resistant. The stool can be customized in any RAL or NSC tone.

Thanks to RUG’N ROLL, the versatile and texture-rich industrial material awakens to new life.

The design has been awarded with the DesignWanted price in 2023 and has been exhibited internationally in London, Milan, Florence, Brussels, Berlin and Shanghai.
