My latest series creates an interdisciplinary dialogue between human craftsmanship and algorithms – large-scale, traditionally painted portraits placed before AI-generated, altered landscapes.
It explores the invisible interplay between humans and the environment, showing elements of air, earth, and water no longer existing in their pure state but carrying traces of human impact.
One work, “Nature That Breathes Us 3”, places a child at its center. The gaze is quiet, not empty – attentive. The background: an artificial structure, vividly graphic, yet laced with symbolic threats – weapon-like forms fragmented into decorative patterns. It reflects the invisible legacy we leave behind: technology, environment, information spaces – all shaping us.
The series raises questions: What defines “normal”? Who decides? What responsibility do we carry when our decisions shape the world we all inhabit? What we give to the world inevitably comes back to us.
Each piece includes my hand-forged Entropia symbol – a tactile marker of change and responsibility. Some works integrate QR codes, revealing short animations of the paintings, carrying a subtle message of hope.
This series does not judge but invites reflection: How does our relationship with nature shift when we realize that it is part of us – and we are part of it?
Inner monologue:
I was born into this world.
For me, it is normal.
I know nothing else –
yet I feel something is wrong.
What I experience shapes what I believe.
And what you do shapes who I become.
