MONDRIMY ‘When Romy met Mondrian’
A unique piece at the crossroads of art and design, where an everyday object becomes an aesthetic statement. Inspired by the radical language of Piet Mondrian, MONDRIMY reinterprets Neo-Plasticism through an existing piece of furniture, transformed into pictorial architecture. Black lines structure the space, primary colours vibrate with tension, creating a balance between rigour and emotion.
On the borderline between collectible design and contemporary art, this work questions function, subverts usage and elevates furniture to the status of a collector’s item.
“When Romy met Mondrian” is not a tribute; it is an encounter, an appropriation, a signature.
