This object is inspired by a traditional
agricultural technique of removing stones from the fields before
plowing them. Farmers used to build dry stone walls with this
recycled material. The object we
designed is about users stacking
each module
as if they
were building their
own dry stone wall, according to their
needs and sensibility. In doing so, users
design their own storage habits and the final
shape of the object.
It can
become a bedside table,
a coffee table or even a bookcase
if users
stack enough modules. It is an invitation to experiment and play by
looking for the right place for the right stone.
