We are specialized in the creation of objects made out of paper. We work with a two centuries old material called "carton-pierre". At that time, it was mainly composed of boiled silk paper, stone powder and glue. It was used by craftsmen to create cheap moldings and ornaments for houses and furnitures. Inspired by this tradition, we are developing this technique to create objects using our contemporary version of this material, which is now largely composed of recycled paper.
As designers we want to promote craftsmanship and invite others to experience a more intimate relationship with nature.
