Beata Walczak is a Polish painter and graphic designer, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She studied painting under Prof. Łukasz Korolkiewicz and received her degree in multimedia painting under the supervision of Prof. Andrzej Maciej Łubowski.
For many years she worked as an art director in publishing. Today, alongside her work in graphic design and illustration, she focuses on painting, developing a distinctive visual language based on colour, symbolism and narrative.
Her paintings explore the relationship between human beings and the living world. Through recurring female figures, animals and plant forms, she creates contemporary mythologies exploring care, belonging and the interconnectedness of all living beings. Combining simplified forms with vibrant colour palettes, she constructs personal mythologies that invite reflection on presence, connection and coexistence.
Walczak is the recipient of the First Prize in the Światłoczułość National Painting Competition and the First Prize in the Artistic Creation category of the Pole of the Year in Italy and Worldwide 2025 competition. Since 2015, she has presented her work in solo, duo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
