Sono Maria Cristina, artista e fondatrice di Atelier Cri-Vision.
La pittura è una passione che mi accompagna fin da ragazza e che, dopo un lungo percorso professionale in un ambito diverso, ho scelto di trasformare in una parte centrale della mia vita.
La mia ricerca artistica nasce dall’esigenza di dare forma a emozioni, ricordi e percezioni attraverso un linguaggio astratto e materico. Le opere sono realizzate su tela attraverso tecnica mista, utilizzando strati di colore acrilico, inchiostro, incisioni e sovrapposizioni.
Il processo creativo è prevalentemente istintivo: la materia viene costruita, trasformata e stratificata fino a far emergere forme e tracce che spesso acquistano significato durante la realizzazione stessa dell’opera.
Attraverso Atelier Cri-Vision, esploro il rapporto tra materia e memoria, tra ciò che emerge e ciò che rimane nascosto, lasciando allo sguardo di chi osserva la libertà di trovare una propria interpretazione.
Ogni opera nasce da un’esperienza personale, ma trova il suo significato definitivo nell’incontro con chi la osserva.
I am Maria Cristina, an artist and founder of Atelier Cri-Vision.
Painting has been a passion of mine since I was young. After pursuing a different professional path for many years, I chose to make art a central part of my life.
My artistic research stems from the need to give form to emotions, memories, and perceptions through an abstract and textural language. My works are created on canvas using mixed media, combining layers of acrylic paint, ink, oil pastels, engravings, and overlapping textures.
My creative process is largely instinctive: the material is built up, transformed, and layered until forms and traces begin to emerge, often revealing their meaning during the creation of the artwork itself.
Through Atelier Cri-Vision, I explore the relationship between matter and memory, between what emerges and what remains hidden, leaving viewers free to find their own personal interpretation.
Each artwork begins with a personal experience, but finds its ultimate meaning in the encounter with those who observe it.
