Vincent
Poujardieu devotes himself to a free-spirited and uncompromising style of
design that combines nature with know-how and cutting-edge technology.
His
creations, produced through prestigious and unique partnerships with high-end
manufacturers, are a beautiful synthesis of rare skills and hyper-technological
innovations.
His
works, produced as limited editions, possess recognizable as much as
fascinating characteristics. From their subtle equilibrium and interplay
between fullness and void emanates a limitless force combining technological
performance and nature-inspired sensual silhouettes.
He
designs pieces for public or private commissions and is frequently presented at
fairs and events in France and abroad.
In 2012,
Vincent Poujardieu received the "Connaissance des Arts" prize,
awarded by the National Academy of Sciences, Belles Lettres and Arts of
Bordeaux.
In 2019
and 2024, his name joined the FD100, the list of the 100 most eminent French
designers.
In the
autumn of 2020, the French Government Mobilier National acquired two Lamps from
his NIDA collection, and in June 2021, the French Embassy in the United States
two other models, now on display at the Villa Albertine in New York.
The KNOT
and HONEYCOMB collections are the newest fruit of his research, thus widening
the field of his creations with new inspirations and typologies.
