THRONE - KNOT collection

The "Throne" chair is the second creation in the KNOT collection, number 02/08.
The research work is centered on the detour of materials from a particular French savoir faire, with perfect mastery of the techniques of metal braiding, complex tubular bending, assembly and welding for this custom-built "Throne".
The interweaving of copper, brass and stainless steel wires in the "Throne" produces an unusual composition of subtle contrasts, whose reflective texture captivates the eye.
The robust superimposition of interwoven geometric and organic curves is inspired by the Tibetan infinity knot and nautical knots.
The Throne's choice of form and material is a symbolic expression of the never-ending cycle of life, and the strong aesthetic value of this collection of sculptural pieces with haute couture finishes.
