During her
university studies, she began her journeys in political science and
international relations.
Nepal, Africa,
Vietnam and many others have been the goals touched upon.
In all this
wandering, her Canon 1100D, makes it disproportionately addictive to
photography.
She starts shooting
in 2016, during her first trip to Asia. Later, she began attending various
photography courses at 6PM Studio, where she learned how to shoot manually.
Now she works as an
independent photographer, devoting herself to reportage and documentary
photography.
Her first personal
exhibition was held at the "Institut Saint Dominique" in Rome in
December 2018.
Later, in 2019, her
photographs are exhibited during all the events entitled: "Smiling, in
silence over the border", a project created in collaboration with the
writer Jacopo Maestri and with Oikos, a voluntary association.
The recurring
photographic theme is, almost always, the peculiarity of the faces of the
people to whom shots were stolen during their daily life. All the photographs
are not studied, Giorgia waits until she captures the precise moment, a smile,
a look, a graceful movement that makes personal and unique photographs of their
kind.
Do not miss to
photograph stunning landscapes like the immensity of the summit of Kilimanjaro
or the icy Himalayan mountains.
