I am a dermatologist by profession, while art and dance are central to my life beyond medicine. My artistic practice explores transformation: the ability to adopt different roles, reveal multiple facets of identity, and continuously reinvent oneself without losing one's sense of self. This tension between change and continuity is at the core of my work.

I consciously describe myself as an amateur, particularly in photography, which forms the basis of much of my practice. This position allows me to approach the medium with openness and experimentation rather than technical perfection.

My first project, Into the Blue, explored the accidental creation of self-portraits and questioned how uncontrolled images can reveal new perspectives on identity. In my second project dealing with Plastic, I turned outward, photographing everyday plastic objects to examine their omnipresence and the tension between utility, habit, and environmental impact.

More recently, I have been developing mixed-media works by transferring photographs onto canvas and combining them with additional photographic layers and painterly interventions. Through layering, fragmentation, and transformation, these works create a dialogue between photography and painting while reflecting my ongoing exploration of identity, continuity, and change.

My work moves between personal reflection and observations of contemporary society, with a particular focus on gender identities. I explore the fluidity between masculinity and femininity, the dissolution of traditional roles and stereotypes, and the acceptance of individuality beyond fixed categories. My aim is to capture moments of freedom in which people can exist without being defined by gender or social expectations.
